Yep! Your entire collection of photos is culled through one by one and the final selections are edited to look like what you see on my website and social media.
Do you edit all of the photos?
Ahhhh, if I could have a dollar for every time I've heard this. The point is, YOU'RE NOT ALONE. Most people don't get professional photos on a regular basis and don't know what to do in front of a camera. No worries, i love creating an experience that is not only comfortable for you but is also super fun!
What if we're super awkward in photos?
My rates are not flexible or negotiable. I schedule a limited amount of sessions per month and am full every month. However, I do offer occasional deals such as mini sessions or winter specials.
Are your rates flexible?
I am based in Hartland, Michigan, but travel all over Michigan AS WELL AS the United States AS WELL AS the world for sessions, weddings, and elopements. You can view my 2021 travel schedule here, but I would love to discuss your location if it isn't listed or you have different timing!
Where are you based and do you travel?

For all sessions, you'll receive your gallery and slideshow within two weeks. During my very busy season (late summer and fall), it goes beyond that on rare occasion. I will keep you updated every step of the way!
What is your turnaround time?
I will always retain the copyright to all of my photos. But when you purchase the digital images, you receive a full print/use release to make prints, albums, share on social media, etc. Basically, you're just not allowed to sale or alter the photos in any way.
What rights do I have with the digital images?
All newborn sessions take place in the client's home. This is easiest for new parents and it's so beautiful to capture your family in the place you live and love. For seniors and famlies, I work with you to discover your "location" vibe and I have tons of location suggestions that will fit you perefctly.
Where will our session take place?
Great question, we DO live in Michigan! I keep a number of open dates available each month as a backup for bad weather days. Because the forecast can change within hours, I usually don't make a final decision until the evening before our session.

How much is a session?
Yes, yes, yesssss! I love when people include their fur babies! One tip...since we'll probably only photograph your pet for the first 15-20 minutes, make sure your pet can either be in the car alone or you have someone come to take over for the remainder of your session.
Can we bring a pet to our session?
I do not offer extended family sessions at this time. My style heavily leans toward candid moments and movement over posed photos. It's much harder to capture relationships and interactions when I am working with several different families.
Do you do extended family sessions?
No worries homies, I've got you covered. Once the deposit is paid and we've chosen your date, I will send you tips and examples on what to wear. And of course, I'm always available if you want to email or text your clothing for opinions!
